As caregivers, we want to provide our kiddos with tasty and nutritious options that keep them excited about eating. Whether you’re looking for something quick and easy, yet adventurous, we’ve gathered 10 easy and fun snack recipes that are sure to please. From colorful bites to creative combinations, these snacks are perfect for keeping snack time exciting and nutritious. 1. Cucumber Sushi

  1. Chop the cucumber into slices.
  2. Scoop out the center of each cucumber slice.
  3. Fill the centers with mashed stick carrots, your choice of meat, and cheese.
  4. Top with sesame seeds or your favorite condiments.

2. Egg Sliders

  1. Cut the hard-boiled egg in half.
  2. Place cheese and bacon on the inside of one of the hard-boiled egg halves.
  3. Place the other half of the egg on top of the cheese and bacon.
  4. Use a toothpick to hold the egg, cheese, and bacon sandwich together.

3. PB & J Sushi Rolls

  1. Take the bread slices and remove the crusts.
  2. Use a rolling pin to flatten the bread slices.
  3. Place one spoonful of peanut butter and one spoonful of jam on each flattened bread slice.
  4. Starting at one end, roll up the bread slices, enclosing the peanut butter and jam.

4. Fruity Frozen Yogurt Bites

  1. Take your favorite flavors of yogurt and scoop them into silicone cupcake holders.
  2. Top with fruit, and freeze!

5. Roasted Carrot Chips

  1. Peel whole carrots into thin strips and place them on a baking sheet.
  2. Drizzle the carrot strips with olive oil.
  3. Lightly dust them with smoked paprika.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes, flipping the carrots at the 10-minute mark.

6. Frozen Peach Shavings

  1. Place the yogurt into a bowl.
  2. Using the small holes of a grater, grate the frozen peach over the yogurt to your desired amount.
  3. Serve and enjoy!

7. Banana Peanut Butter Roll Ups

  1. Spread peanut butter evenly over the entire tortilla.
  2. Slice a banana and arrange the slices evenly on top of the peanut butter-covered tortilla.
  3. Roll up the tortilla tightly, enclosing the peanut butter and bananas.
  4. Slice the peanut butter banana roll-up into bite-sized portions.

8. Mini Tacos

  1. Arrange tortilla chips in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  2. Spread refried beans evenly over the tortilla chips.
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the beans.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Remove from the oven and fold each tortilla chip in half to create mini tacos.
  6. Serve with your favorite toppings such as salsa or guacamole for dipping.

9. Raspberry Yogurt Bites

  1. Take whole raspberries and fill each one with your favorite yogurt.

10. Smashed Brussel Sprouts

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Trim the bottoms and cut any bad leaves off the brussel sprouts. Give them a good cleaning and then steam them until they are fork tender (about 15 minutes). If you are using frozen brussel sprouts, cook them according to the package directions. Set them aside in a colander to let them drain and cool for a few minutes.
  3. Toss the brussel sprouts with olive oil and seasoning and then spread them out onto your prepared baking dish. Use the bottom of a cup to smash them into flat patties.
  4. Evenly spoon the grated parmesan cheese onto the top of the smashed brussel sprouts.
  5. Bake in the center rack for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese turns a deep golden brown and the edges of the brussel sprouts are crispy.
