We know that summer might not be what you anticipated, but there are still a ton of fun ways to kick off summer!  How do you normally spend your summer? Maybe this year is the year to try new things with your friends and family! The fit team is sharing their favorite ways to stay active and have fun in the summertime!

Donna Hardie, our Lead Program Development Specialist, loves summertime! When she’s not tending to her herb garden, she loves to hit the bike trails that circle our city.

Shelby Braun, a Program Development Specialist, loves to explore the city with her dog, Arrow! Shelby and Arrow soak up the sunshine during long walks and adventures to state parks.

Amy Baete, our Program Director, lives for the warm air and summer sun. Family trips to the greenhouse are the start to her summer, followed up with a day of planting and a picnic outside to top it all off. Her family loves to break out the garden hose and water balloons to cool off from the summer heat!

Shelby Huber, our Senior Graphic Designer, works remotely from Montana, so she’s a mountain girl. She loves to hike and forage for mushrooms and new rocks, and takes a break with her hammock and a good book.

Brittney Nathan, a Program Development Specialist, is kicking off her summer by spending time outdoors. She loves exploring her neighborhood and seeing new sights around her local parks.

Tabitha Merkle, our Communications Specialist, kicks off her summer with some time to explore the city. She loves visiting the farmer’s market to look for fresh produce and spends her time trying or cooking new foods and recipes for friends.
